Liam Broady Parents: Meet Simon Broady And Shirley Broady

Liam Broady parents are Shirley and Simon Broady. They were the first ones to inspire the kids to tennis at an early age.

At the age of four, Broady began playing tennis and had training at Matchpoint in Bramhall. By the age of eight, he played in his first competition, and at ten, he began to show his promising talent. He attended Priestnall School, earning his GCSEs in 2010, and Norris Bank Primary.

Liam’s sister Naomi’s funding was cut off by the Lawn Tennis Association in 2007 due to her unprofessional social networking posts. This decision infuriated their father, Simon to the point where he pulled Liam, who was 13 at the time from LTA program.

Simon paid for travel and training for Naomi, downsized the family house, and moved into a small red brick terrace. The LTA offered to reinstate their funds after two weeks but Simon declined.
