Kaif opened up about a lot of her lifestyle secrets in an interview with GQ. She says that she tries to workout regularly, and that she actually enjoys hitting the gym. "I love training. Without it, I'm not the best that I can be. I try to work out six days a week, for at least 45 minutes."

One thing that Kaif is working on her life is going easy on herself. She says to GQ that this is something she really struggles with. "Sometimes, I get pulled up for being hard on people, or told to go easy on someone – and of course you've got to be gentle – but I'm always ten times harder on myself," she says. "But, I've got to find a balance. To know I've done my best, and let go."

One way that Kaif likes to work out is by lifting weights and strength training. She posted this photo on Instagram of herself lifting a barbell at the gym. Kaif captioned the post, "It's not about right or wrong, it's about doing or not, it's about confidence and fear, and most of all it's about is it quiet or noisy in your head."

Kaif broke down some of her diet secrets to GQ. She says that she keeps it pretty healthy, and cuts out certain things in her diet. "My staple rule, which I follow 95 per cent of the time, is no gluten, no refined sugars, no dairy," she says. However, Kaif isn't about limiting her carbs. "Carbs are fine – nothing wrong with them!"

Kaif tells GQ that she is working on not letting things bother her. She explains that if she's still thinking about something after it happens, she'll address it. Anything else, she lets go of. "One of the most important things I've learned is that we are not our thoughts. I try not to react immediately now. If I still feel strongly about something the next day, then I'll address it."
