Jason Derulo is relocating to Australia and wants to raise his children here

JASON Derulo is planning to move to Australia … permanently.

Speaking to radio presenter Smallzy from Nova Network, the 24-year-old said “I’m about to get a place out here in Sydney”.

When pressed if it would just be a holiday house, the Whatcha Say singer added, “It’s going to be to live in”.

Derulo didn’t say whether his long-time girlfriend, 2007 American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, is planning to move to Australia as well.

The R & B crooner denied the couple had recently become engaged, after they appeared together in the video for his latest single which is suggestively titled Marry Me.

He did admit that he wants to have kids in the future though, and from the sounds of it he’d like to raise them in Australia.

“I want Australian kids, I don’t really want American kids,” he said. “American kids have got too many problems. I want some Aussie babies.”

Derulo is currently promoting his recently released album Tattoos.

Earlier today he announced that he will be touring nationally in April and May next year.
