Bickmore tells Women's Health that she makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She says that she makes sure to get at least a couple of fitness sessions each day. "Some weeks I get five workouts in, some only three. But I'm quite relaxed about it and my weeks are pretty active no matter what I'm doing."

Bickmore tells Women's Health that she eats a pretty healthy diet. She says that she has a busy schedule, and in order to have enough energy to keep going, she eats healthy snacks. "My days are long so I'll often have something sweet in the afternoon. My other energy boosters are tea, nuts and fruit. On The Project we have dips, hummus, carrots, celery and crackers."

Bickmore likes to do a lot of different workouts. "I walk most days, I run, and on the weekend I do a pilates class. I've just started CrossFit, too, which has been fun," Bickmore told Women's Health. She does have her favorite workouts that she likes to do though. "I like the high intensity. I'm not good at things that are too slow. I've found a KX pilates studio, which uses weights, so it's fast."

Bickmore tells Body & Soul that she likes to do a lot of workouts with her family. "Once I had kids, I had to find ways to incorporate them into my exercise. We go for heaps of walks, runs and bike rides with the pram, and my partner, and I do workouts on the front lawn while the kids ride their scooters around."

There can be pressure on celebrities to seem perfect at all times. However, Bickmore tells Body & Soul that she doesn't try to appeal to these standards. "I don't think life is ever perfectly in balance, but that's OK. I don't think we should aspire to have perfect lives – the joy is in the imperfection. Some days my home life takes more of my time and energy, so my work life takes a back seat; other weeks I have a crazy work schedule, so my house becomes a mess and we eat more take-away. I also try not to read the comments on social media – I surround myself with real family and friends, and it's their opinions I listen to."
